Kinsella Media in New York Times for Google

Minneapolis, MN - Kinsella Media was featured in a March 4, 2009, New York Times story for its comprehensive international notice program in the Authors Guild, Inc. v. Google Inc. class action settlement. Read the story here.

The story, which focuses on the tremendous international scope of the notice program, includes quotes from Katherine Kinsella, president of Kinsella Media.

The $125 million landmark settlement includes compensation to rightholders for books and other writings digitized as part of Google’s Book Search project. Notice to authors, publishers and heirs will appear in 72 languages in 216 countries and U.S. territories. Kinsella’s paid media campaign complemented an unprecedented direct notice program that Kinsella designed and executed with Rust Consulting.
